1962年に創業したとんかつ浜かつが起源。
1974年に「長崎ちゃんめん」チェーンの第1号店を開き、2009年に全店の野菜を国産化して「野菜たっぷりちゃんぽん」を発売した。2019年に1,000号店を開いた長崎ちゃんぽんのチェーンである。
