1927年に樫山純三氏が創業した樫山商店が起源。
1992年に婦人服ブランド「組曲」を立ち上げ、ジェイプレスやチャコット、ジョゼフグループの株式取得でブランドを拡充した。婦人服・紳士服のブランドを多数抱える国内アパレルの大手である。
