1919年にポンプ専門の製作工場として創設されたのが起源。
1955年に東洋最大規模の排水機場向け大型ポンプを受注し、2024年には超電導モータ搭載型液化水素ポンプの運転試験に成功した。ポンプ専業メーカーで、欧州・米国・インド・豪州へ拠点を展開した。
