1975年に横浜市緑区桜台で開業したみどり薬局が起源。
2012年に社長へ就いた廣瀬泰三氏のもとで生鮮3品を扱う「医・食」の売場を全店へ展開し、調剤併設率を55%水準まで高めた。1都7県に店を構えるドラッグストアで、神奈川県内の店舗数首位を保っている。
