1938年に創立された法専組鉄工所が起源。
2000年に新潟工事と合併して新興プランテックとなり、2019年にはJXエンジニアリングと合併してレイズネクストへ商号を改めた。プラント工事を担うエンジニアリング会社で、インドネシアにも拠点を持つ。
