1954年に設立されたアドヘヤ紙工が起源。
1963年に積水アドヘヤ工業、1970年に積水樹脂へ改称し、2024年にはWEMAS TopCo GmbHや理研興業を傘下に加えた。国内外に工場を持つ樹脂加工製品のメーカーで、売上高は742億円。
