1953年に創立した菱三電気が起源。
2024年に菱洋エレクトロと株式移転で経営統合し、持株会社リョーサン菱洋HDを設立した。Edal Electronicsやスタイルズの買収でアジアの販売網を広げ、売上高3,599億円の商社となった。
