1918年に創業した富岡無尽が起源。
2010年に株式移転で持株会社となり、2016年に大正銀行を完全子会社化して2020年に徳島銀行へ統合させた。1943年設立の香川無尽の系譜も引き、徳島・香川を地盤とする銀行持株会社である。
