1992年に設立されたクオールが起源。
2008年にローソンと業務提携してコンビニ併設型の調剤薬局を展開し、2024年には第一三共エスファを子会社化して後発医薬品の製造販売に進出した。調剤薬局事業を柱に、医薬品の製造や医療人材の紹介も手がける。
