Background
He started Lead Electric in March 1972 and became Representative Director and President when it was incorporated in May 1974. He served as President for 26 years until stepping back to Representative Director and Chairman in December 2000, and from March 2015 remained with the company as Director and Honorary Chairman. His stake as founder persists after his retirement: among major shareholders for the fiscal year ended March 2026, T.T Co., Ltd. ranks first with 15.07%, the Keyence Foundation holds 4.57%, and Takizaki personally holds 3.15%.
Selection
He had no predecessor. He incorporated the business he had started in March 1972 in May 1974 and became Representative Director and President at the same time. The first change of president came 26 years later, in December 2000, when Michio Sasaki succeeded him. For the two years between founding and incorporation, management was already in his hands.
Initiatives
He became President at incorporation in May 1974 and ran the company for 26 years until stepping back to Chairman in December 2000. The management model he established in that time rests on three pillars: direct sales without distributors combined with fabless production, concentration on high value added that avoids low-margin businesses, and a high-pay personnel system that distributes operating profit generously to employees.
