He joined NEC in April 1983, becoming Executive Officer in April 2006, Senior Vice President in July 2011 and Director and Senior Vice President in June 2016. Initiatives
In April 2021 he announced the Mid-term Management Plan 2025, pursuing structural reform alongside upfront investment in DX, AI and security. In April 2022 he made NEC Fielding a wholly owned subsidiary through a tender offer, and in June 2023 the company moved from a company with an audit and supervisory board to a company with a nominating committee and other committees. In May 2024 he unveiled the value creation model BluStellar, consolidating some 10,000 products into 500 offerings and 30 scenarios. In March 2025 he made NEC Networks & System Integration a wholly owned subsidiary.
