Background
He joined Osaka Gas in May 1972. He became a Director 30 years later in June 2002, Managing Director in June 2005, and Representative Director and President in April 2008. It took 36 years from joining to the presidency, and he went straight from Managing Director to President without serving as Senior Managing Director or Executive Vice President.
