He is a career employee who joined Nagoya Railroad in April 1983. On becoming a Director in June 2012 he served as Deputy Head of the Real Estate Business Headquarters from the following month, and became its head in July 2015, taking over directly the post his predecessor Takashi Ando had held since July 2013.
