Background
He joined NEXON Korea in May 2003, became Executive Vice President in charge of business operations in November 2015 and Representative Director and President in January 2018. He joined the board of the holding company Nexon in March 2023 and became President the following March, 2024. He is a group career employee who spent 20 years at the Korean operating company. In the FY ended December 2025, the major shareholders were NXC Corporation at 31.3% and NXMH BV at 14.9%, so the two founder-side holding companies together held 46.2%.

In March 2024 he succeeded Owen Mahoney as President. He was appointed a year after joining the holding company's board. In the FY ended December 2023, the year before he took office, consolidated revenue was ¥423.3 billion and operating income ¥134.7 billion, above ¥353.7 billion and ¥103.7 billion the year before. Net income, however, had fallen from ¥100.3 billion to ¥70.6 billion. The presidency passed from a finance-background leader who had served ten years to someone who had led the Korean operating company.

After he took office, consolidated revenue grew to ¥446.2 billion in the FY ended December 2024 and ¥475.1 billion in the FY ended December 2025, while operating income was flat at ¥124.2 billion and ¥124.0 billion. Net income rose to ¥134.8 billion in the FY ended December 2024 and came back to ¥92.0 billion in the FY ended December 2025.
