1990年に塙圭二氏が埼玉県本庄市に設立したケイアイプランニングが起源。
2009年に低価格の規格型注文住宅「はなまるハウス」を投入し、世帯収入300万〜500万円台の層に家を届けた。売上高3,939億円の93%を分譲住宅が占め、地場の住宅会社を相次いで買収した戸建分譲の大手である。
