Background
He joined Kintetsu (now Kintetsu Group Holdings) in April 1983 and served as an Executive Officer of the group's Kintetsu Real Estate from June 2013. He became Director and Managing Executive Officer in June 2016 and Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer in June 2021. It took him 41 years from joining to become President. His executive experience was built not in the railway itself but in the real estate business.
