He joined in April 2000 and became a Director in November that year. He served as head of the Third Business Division from March 2007 and General Manager of Engineering from November 2008, and became Representative Director and President in April 2009. Selection

In April 2009 he succeeded founder Yasuhiko Shogaki as Representative Director and President. In the fiscal year ended August 2008, the year before he took office, consolidated net sales were ¥84.9 billion, operating income ¥7.5 billion, ordinary income ¥7.9 billion and net income ¥4.0 billion. In the FY ended August 2009, when he took office, net sales rose to ¥88.3 billion and operating income to ¥9.2 billion, while the company posted an ordinary loss of ¥6.9 billion and a net loss of ¥4.8 billion. At the time he took office, the largest shareholder was Shogaki personally with 30.51%, so the change left the capital in the founding family's hands.

Consolidated net sales grew by ¥71.6 billion over ten fiscal years, from ¥84.9 billion the year before he took office to ¥156.5 billion in the fiscal year ended August 2019. In the FY ended August 2014 net sales rose to ¥125.6 billion while operating income fell to ¥5.5 billion and net income to ¥1.1 billion, before recovering in the following years. In the FY ended August 2020 the company swung into the red with net sales of ¥126.8 billion, an operating loss of ¥3.8 billion and a net loss of ¥3.4 billion, and in the FY ended August 2022, his last full year, net sales were ¥144.2 billion, operating income ¥0.4 billion and net income ¥5.6 billion.
