Background
He joined CyberAgent in April 2006 and is a career employee. In April 2009 he became Representative Director of the subsidiary CyberZ. At the parent he became a Director in December 2012, Managing Director in October 2018 and Senior Managing Executive Officer in December 2020; he has overseen the Abema Tactical Division since June 2017 and also became Director and COO of AbemaTV in September 2023.

In December 2025 he became Representative Director and President, succeeding founder Susumu Fujita. It was the first change in a presidency Fujita had held for 27 years since the founding in March 1998. In the fiscal year before he took office, ended September 2025, consolidated revenue was ¥874.0 billion and operating income ¥71.7 billion, both above the previous year's ¥801.2 billion and ¥40.1 billion. Fujita moved to Representative Director and Chairman and remained the largest shareholder with 16.63%. The handover appears to have gone to the officer who had run ABEMA and the games business.
