Background
He joined Nippon Vicks (now Procter & Gamble Japan) in April 1985 and spent 12 years at the foreign consumer goods company. He moved to Rohto Pharmaceutical in June 1997, serving as Deputy General Manager of the Business Development Headquarters and General Manager of Development Planning from April 2009, and Deputy General Manager of the Corporate Planning Headquarters and General Manager of Corporate Planning from June 2011. He became an Executive Officer in June 2012 and a Director in June 2018, also serving as Chief Information Officer from June 2019 and Chief Strategy Officer from March 2022. His career was long centered on business development and corporate planning.
