Background
He joined Morinaga Milk Industry in April 1983. He became Executive Officer and general manager of corporate planning in June 2011, entering the officer ranks in charge of corporate planning. He became Director and Managing Executive Officer in June 2015, Managing Director in June 2017 and Senior Managing Director in June 2019, and was appointed Representative Director and President in June 2021. It took 38 years from joining to the presidency.

Net income jumped to ¥61.3 billion in FY ended March 2024 and fell to ¥5.5 billion the following year, FY ended March 2025.
