Background
He joined Saitama Bank in April 1984 and moved to Temporary Center in June 1989. He rose to Director and Managing Executive Officer of Pasona in September 2006, Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer in July 2012 and Director and Executive Vice President in August 2017. From December 2021 he served as Director, Executive Vice President and COO. He became President in June 2025, in his 36th year with the company.

In June 2025 he succeeded founder Yasuyuki Nambu as Representative Director, President and CEO. In the fiscal year ended May 2025, the year before he took office, consolidated net sales were ¥309.2 billion, with an operating loss of ¥1.2 billion and a net loss of ¥8.7 billion, a swing into the red from operating profit of ¥6.8 billion the previous year. The promotion came three and a half years after he became COO. Two months after taking office, in August 2025, he moved to Representative Director, Chairman and CEO, and Shintaro Nakao succeeded him as President.
