Background
He is a banker who joined Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank in April 1985. He became Executive Officer and General Manager of Investor Relations at Mizuho Financial Group in April 2012, Managing Executive Officer and concurrently Managing Director of Mizuho Bank in April 2014, and President of Mizuho Bank in April 2017. From July 2022 he served as a senior adviser to Mizuho Financial Group, and from July 2023 as a special adviser. He joined Tokyo Century as a Director in June 2024.
