Background
A career employee, he joined Advantest in 1981. He became an Executive Officer in June 2005, Director and Managing Executive Officer in June 2009, Director and Executive Vice President in June 2013, and President in August 2014. Following Toshio Maruyama and Haruo Matsuno, he was the third consecutive president to have spent his whole career at the company.
