Background
He joined Chisan in April 1990 and moved to Forum in May 1992. In March 1997 he founded dip and became its Representative Director and President. Among major shareholders in the FY ended February 2006 he was the largest with 50.2%, holding both capital and management himself. Since May 2018 he has also been president of the U.S. subsidiary DIP America.

He is the first president, serving as Representative Director and President since the company's founding in March 1997, with no predecessor. The company went public in 2004, and in March 2006 he changed his title to Representative Director, President and CEO. Sales were still small then, with consolidated net sales of ¥3.1 billion in the FY ended February 2005 and ¥5.2 billion in the FY ended February 2006.
Initiatives
In 2019 he launched a new AI and RPA business, "Cobot," adding post-hiring operational support to a business that had relied solely on job advertising. Since then results have been disclosed in two segments, media and DX. Under the COVID-19 pandemic, consolidated net sales fell to ¥32.5 billion and operating income to ¥7.3 billion in the FY ended February 2021, but they returned to ¥56.4 billion and ¥13.4 billion in the FY ended February 2025. In the FY ended February 2026 net sales were ¥54.9 billion and operating income ¥9.1 billion, down in both.
