Background

After working at Toshiba Engineering from April 1988 and Prime from April 1991, he joined System Pro, today's Systena, in May 1995. He advanced to Director and general manager of engineering in January 2001, Director heading business promotion and sales in November 2002 and Director and Executive Vice President in November 2003, and became Representative Director and Executive Vice President in December 2004, his ninth year with the company. Among major shareholders in the FY ended October 2005, founder Yoshichika Henmi was the largest with 38.4%, and Miura ranked sixth with 1.1%.

Selection

He became Representative Director and President in January 2009, as founder and predecessor Yoshichika Henmi moved to Representative Director and Chairman. When the company absorbed Katena Corporation in a merger in April 2010 and renamed itself SysPro Katena, Henmi returned as president and Miura became Representative Director and Executive Vice President. In April 2016 they swapped again, with Henmi becoming chairman and Miura president, and he served as president until becoming Director, President and Representative Executive Officer in June 2024. The presidency changed hands between them three times, in 2009, 2010 and 2016.

Initiatives

In the ten years from his return in April 2016 to his departure in April 2026, consolidated net sales rose from ¥42.7 billion in the FY ended March 2016 to ¥94.4 billion in the FY ended March 2026, and operating income from ¥3.2 billion to ¥15.4 billion. In Japan the company opened offices in Kobe in March 2019, Nagoya in July 2019, Matsuyama in June 2021, Kyoto in November 2022, Utsunomiya in September 2024 and Toyota in October 2024. The capital of U.S. subsidiary Systena America Inc. was raised to US$6 million, US$19 million and US$28 million between January 2017 and September 2019. In April 2022 the Tokyo Stock Exchange's market restructuring moved the company from the First Section to the Prime Market.
