Background
He joined Sparrow Japan in February 1988 and moved to Tempstaff in September 1991. He became a Director of Tempstaff in June 2006 and of the holding company in October 2008, then Director and Executive Officer in April 2015, Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer in June 2016 and Director and Executive Vice President in April 2020. He moved from sales at the operating company to management of the holding company, spending 30 years in the same group.

In April 2021 he succeeded Masamichi Mizuta as Representative Director, President and CEO. In the fiscal year ended March 2021, the year before he took office, net sales were ¥950.7 billion and operating profit ¥25.7 billion, down 34% from ¥39.1 billion the previous year. Sales rose every year in the five years since he took office.
