Background
He joined Chuo Coopers & Lybrand Consulting in April 1999 and moved to Tohmatsu Consulting in August 2004. He joined BOOKOFF CORPORATION mid-career in March 2006 and built his career in administration, becoming Executive Officer and deputy head of the Administration Headquarters in April 2008 and Director, Executive Officer and head of the Administration Headquarters in June 2009. Initiatives
The company changed its fiscal year-end from March to May, with the first full year on the new basis being the fiscal year ended May 2021. The bottom line, which had been in the red, turned to a ¥2.2 billion profit in the FY ended March 2019 after the move to a holding company. Consolidated revenue grew from ¥80.8 billion in the FY ended March 2019 to ¥119.2 billion in the FY ended May 2025, and operating profit from ¥1.6 billion to ¥3.4 billion.
