Background
He joined Sumitomo Trust and Banking in April 1988. He became Executive Officer and General Manager of Head Office Business Department No. 4 at Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank in April 2015, Executive Officer and General Manager of Human Resources in April 2016, and Managing Executive Officer and General Manager of Corporate Planning in April 2017. At the holding company he also served as Executive Officer and General Manager of Human Resources from April 2016, advancing to Managing Executive Officer in April 2019 and Director and Executive Officer in June 2021.
