He joined Nojima in April 1973 and became a Director in August 1978. Among the top 10 shareholders for the fiscal year ended March 2026, Nojima Hiroshi Co. ranks first with 14.77%, followed by Hiroshi Nojima personally with 2.91% and Takahisa Nojima with 2.51%. He became Representative Director and President in July 1994, 16 years after joining the board in August 1978. In June 2003, with the move to a company with nominating committees, he became Director, Representative Executive Officer, President and CEO. In April 2006 he moved to Director and Representative Executive Officer, Chairman (CEO), temporarily handing the presidency to Tatsumi Saegusa. In June 2007 he returned to the presidency as Director and Representative Executive Officer, Chairman and President (CEO), and since June 2008 has served as Director and Representative Executive Officer, President (CEO), having given up the chairmanship.

Initiatives

In 2015 he acquired the mobile phone sales agency ITX, establishing a second pillar, and from April 2017 to May 2021 personally served as its Representative Director and President. In 2023 Nojima made the major mobile phone retailer Conexio a wholly owned subsidiary through a tender offer. Consolidated net sales grew from ¥98.0 billion in the fiscal year ended March 2004 to ¥982.8 billion in the FY ended March 2026, and operating income from ¥2.4 billion in the FY ended March 2006 to ¥58.1 billion.
