Background
He joined Rohm in April 1989, became a Director in June 2013, Managing Director in January 2017 and Senior Managing Director in July 2017. From September 2019, as Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer, he was in charge of quality, production, the general-purpose device business and the module business. In June 2023 he also became Representative Director and President of the manufacturing subsidiary Rohm Apollo. His career up to the presidency was confined to Rohm and its subsidiaries, a career employee who worked only on the production and quality side.

On the other hand, the net loss widened to ¥158.4 billion from ¥50.0 billion the previous year. He has served only one fiscal year, and the facts of his tenure traceable from the annual securities reports are limited to these results.
