In May 2018 the company acquired shares in Rein Medical, maker of video systems for operating rooms, and in December that year in Tait International, a New Zealand professional radio company. In May 2021 it drew up the mid-term management plan VISION2023 and the same month sold all shares of its US subsidiary Zetron to Australia's Codan Limited. In March 2024 it completed the sale of its Chinese production base Shanghai Kenwood Electronics, and in December that year consolidated the Yokohama head office area into three buildings including a new one.
