He became Executive Officer and general manager of corporate planning in July 2018, general manager of management strategy and planning in 2021, and head of the Strategy Headquarters in 2023, working on the head-office planning side.

In April 2025 he succeeded Takayo Hasegawa as CEO, President and Executive Officer, with Hasegawa moving to Representative Director, Chair and chair of the board. Initiatives
Just before he took office, in March 2025, the company made TOTOKU a subsidiary. In February 2026 it announced the mid-term management plan "Transformation for Growth SWCC 2030," ending in fiscal 2030, signaling a shift from ROIC Management 1.0, centered on structural reform, to ROIC Management 2.0, channeling cash from cash-cow businesses into growth businesses. It targets operating profit of ¥40 billion or more and ROIC of 15% or more. In FY ended March 2026, consolidated net sales were ¥277.7 billion and operating profit ¥27.3 billion.
