Background
He joined Nissan Motor in April 1976 and moved to SRL in July 1978. He became Senior Managing Director of JGS in November 2000 and its Representative Director and President in April 2001. In July 2006 he founded PeptiDream and became its Representative Director and President. After working at a manufacturer and a clinical testing company, he ran a venture and then founded his own company.

He served 11 years until he stepped back to Representative Director and Chairman in September 2017 and handed the presidency to Patrick Reid. In September 2017 he left the presidency to become Representative Director and Chairman, while also serving as Representative Director and President of PeptiStar, a joint venture for manufacturing active pharmaceutical ingredients.
