Background
A career employee, he joined the Pal Group in March 1983. He advanced to Director in May 2001, Managing Director in May 2010, and Director and Managing Executive Officer in May 2015. After Pal Co., Ltd. was launched in September 2016, he served as its Director and Managing Executive Officer and, from May 2019, as Director, Senior Managing Executive Officer and deputy head of sales, building his career in sales. He became Executive Vice President in March 2024 and Director and Executive Vice President of the Pal Group that May.

In March 2025 he succeeded Ryuta Inoue as president. Since the company's founding in 1973, the first president Hidetaka Inoue and the second, Ryuta Inoue, had both come from the founding family, making him the first president from outside it. He was promoted from Director and Executive Vice President, taking office 42 years after joining. In the fiscal year ended February 2025, the year before he took office, consolidated net sales were ¥207.8 billion and operating income ¥23.7 billion, with sales and profit having risen for three straight years.
