In the FY ended March 2021 net sales fell to ¥1,035.8 billion and net income to ¥74.6 billion, the only decline in sales during his tenure. Sales then rose for three straight years, recovering to ¥1,154.7 billion with net income of ¥101.9 billion in the FY ended March 2024, his final year.
