He joined Chudo Lease in April 1983 and moved to Leopalace21 in June 1990. He became General Manager of Corporate Planning in July 2010, an Executive Officer in April 2013 and Director and Executive Officer in June 2016, and in April 2018, as Director and Managing Executive Officer, took charge of corporate planning and IR. He rose to the board not from sales or construction but from corporate planning and IR.
