He joined Iwatani in April 1981, became an Executive Officer in June 2010, Managing Executive Officer in April 2011 and head of the Electronics and Machinery Division in April 2012. He became a Director in June 2012, Managing Director in April 2014, Senior Managing Director in April 2017 and Director and Executive Vice President in April 2019, before becoming Representative Director, President and Executive Officer in April 2020.
