Background
He entered the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications in April 1994, became a senior staff member in Japan Post Co.'s Corporate Planning Department in January 2014 and head of that department in December 2015. He became Executive Officer in April 2017 and Managing Executive Officer in April 2019, also serving as Managing Executive Officer of Japan Post Holdings. After a career in Japan Post Co.'s corporate planning, he became Director, Representative Executive Officer and President of the holding company in June 2025.
