He joined the company in April 1996 and in September 2018 was sent to Bridgestone (China) Investment Co., Ltd. as a division head. He became head of an overall division in March 2022 and a Managing Officer in January 2024, and in January 2025, as Representative Executive Officer and Executive Vice President, also served as Global CAO and Global CSO. He became Representative Executive Officer and Global CEO in January 2026 and has also been a Director since that March. He has an international background, having overseen the Chinese subsidiary.
