He joined Andersen Consulting in March 1999 and moved to Roland Berger in September 2004, the Enterprise Turnaround Initiative Corporation of Japan in May 2010 and Boston Consulting Group in February 2012. He joined World in September 2012, becoming an Executive Officer in June 2014, Managing Executive Officer in April 2015 and Senior Managing Executive Officer in April 2017. An outsider who had moved between consulting and turnaround support, he became President eight years after joining.
