Background
He joined Big Motor in April 1993, became Managing Director in June 2004 and Representative Director and President of Big Shunan in December that year. He became a Director of Hanaten in June 2005 and Senior Managing Director and General Manager of Sales in June 2008, leading used car sales organizations. In February 2016 he joined Nextage as Director and Executive Vice President, and in March 2017 also became Director and President of group company NEW.

In February 2022 he took over the presidency from founder Yasuharu Hirota. It was a promotion from Director and Executive Vice President six years after joining Nextage.
