Background
He joined Kajima Corporation in April 1977. He became an Executive Officer in April 2009, Managing Executive Officer in April 2013, Senior Managing Executive Officer in April 2014 and Executive Vice President and Executive Officer in April 2017. He was appointed from the post of Executive Vice President serving as head of the Tokyo building branch.

In June 2021 he succeeded Yoshikazu Oshimi as Representative Director, President and Chief Executive Officer. Oshimi became Representative Director and Chairman.
