Background

At NTT East he served as a Director from June 2015, Managing Director from June 2018 and Representative Director and Executive Vice President from June 2020. In June 2022 he moved to the operating company Nippon COMSYS as Representative Director and Executive Vice President and also became a senior officer of the holding company COMSYS Holdings. He became President of Nippon COMSYS in April 2023 and of COMSYS Holdings in April 2024. He is the third President, after Hajime Takashima and Takashi Kagaya, to come from the ranks of NTT East officers.

In April 2023 he succeeded Takashi Kagaya, who had led the company for seven years, as President of Nippon COMSYS. Kagaya became Chairman of Nippon COMSYS and moved to Chairman of the holding company in April 2024. In the fiscal year ended March 2023, the year before he took office, consolidated net sales were ¥563.2 billion, operating profit ¥32.1 billion and net income ¥19.3 billion, down in both sales and profit from ¥589.0 billion, ¥43.0 billion and ¥29.2 billion the year before. He was promoted less than a year after becoming Executive Vice President.

Initiatives

After the decline in sales and profit in FY ended March 2023, results recovered in his first year, FY ended March 2024, to consolidated net sales of ¥571.1 billion and operating profit of ¥39.2 billion. Growth continued, reaching net sales of ¥630.7 billion, operating profit of ¥50.9 billion and net income of ¥36.3 billion in FY ended March 2026. Over three years in office, net sales rose 12.0% and operating profit 58.6%. He became President of the holding company in April 2024, the year after taking office.
