Selection

In January 2025 he became Representative Director, President and Executive Officer, succeeding Hitoshi Nomura, and on taking office also headed the Internal Audit Office, a dual role he gave up in April 2025. In the fiscal year ended December 2024, the year before he took office, consolidated revenue was ¥463.7 billion, operating income ¥79.7 billion and net income ¥65.8 billion, all above the previous year's ¥375.9 billion, ¥70.5 billion and ¥45.0 billion. An executive who had spent two years as Representative Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer heading the Building Business Division rose to President at a time of growing results.

In his first year, the fiscal year ended December 2025, consolidated revenue was ¥474.5 billion and operating income ¥95.8 billion, both above the previous year's ¥463.7 billion and ¥79.7 billion, with operating income up 20.2%. Ordinary profit also rose from ¥71.7 billion to ¥78.2 billion. Net income, on the other hand, fell from ¥65.8 billion to ¥58.8 billion. He has served only one fiscal year so far, and not enough periods have accumulated to measure the outcomes of his decisions.
