Initiatives
Ordinary profit of ¥1,466.1 billion and net income of ¥962.9 billion in the fiscal year ended March 2024, and ordinary profit of ¥1,719.5 billion and net income of ¥1,178.0 billion in the FY ended March 2025, set successive records on the back of rising interest rates and gains from selling strategic shareholdings. In the FY ended March 2026 ordinary profit reached ¥2,303.4 billion and net income ¥1,583.0 billion. A holding company that started out carrying about ¥1.5 trillion in public funds had, in a quarter century, become one that books annual profits of over ¥1 trillion.
