He joined ULVAC in March 1984. He became a Director in September 2011, Managing Executive Officer in September 2013 and Senior Managing Executive Officer in July 2015, and Representative Director, Executive Officer and President in July 2017. A career employee who climbed the internal ladder step by step, he took 27 years from joining to become a Director and six years from Director to President. In July 2025 his title changed to Representative Director, President and CEO.

By the FY ended June 2020 they had fallen to ¥185.4 billion and ¥16.0 billion. They then recovered to ¥241.3 billion and ¥30.1 billion in the FY ended June 2022, net sales of ¥261.1 billion in the FY ended June 2024 exceeded the FY ended June 2018, and in the FY ended June 2025 net sales were ¥251.2 billion and operating income ¥26.5 billion.
