He joined Makita in April 1999. The positions listed in his annual securities report biography are just three: general manager of the Overseas Sales Administration Department in April 2012, Director, Executive Officer and head of the Overseas Sales Headquarters in June 2013, and Representative Director and President in June 2017; before becoming President he always headed overseas sales units. It took him 14 years from joining to become a Director and 18 years to become President.
