Background
He joined Miura Co. in April 1991, became an Executive Officer in July 2012 and Director and Managing Executive Officer in June 2016. In June 2023 he also became Representative Director and President of group company Ainax Inamoto, and in April 2024 became Representative Director, President, Executive Officer, CEO and CTO of the parent. It took him 33 years from joining to become President. He took office holding both the CEO and CTO titles himself.

In the fiscal year before he took over, ended March 2024, consolidated net sales were ¥159.7 billion, operating profit ¥23.1 billion and net income ¥19.4 billion, all above the prior year's ¥158.4 billion, ¥21.9 billion and ¥16.9 billion. He was promoted eight years after joining the board and the year after serving as president of the subsidiary Ainax Inamoto. The appointment entrusted him with the parent while he kept responsibility for technology.
Initiatives
In 2024, his first year, the company completed the acquisition of Cleaver-Brooks, adding a North American industrial boiler business. Consolidated net sales reached ¥251.3 billion in FY ended March 2025, up more than ¥90 billion from ¥159.7 billion the year before. Operating profit moved from ¥23.1 billion to ¥25.3 billion and net income from ¥19.4 billion to ¥23.3 billion. FY ended March 2026 brought net sales of ¥268.7 billion, operating profit of ¥30.9 billion and net income of ¥27.6 billion, with sales 1.7 times their level before he took office.
