Background
He joined Taisei Corporation in April 1984 and moved to Hulic in October 2007 as deputy general manager of the second real estate development department. About a year and a half after joining, in March 2009, he became Director and Executive Officer. He advanced to Director and Managing Executive Officer in April 2014, Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer in April 2020, and Representative Director and Executive Vice President in April 2021. In a company led by Saburo Nishiura, who came from Fuji Bank, he had a development background with 23 years at a construction company.

In March 2022 he succeeded Manabu Yoshidome as president, promoted one year after becoming Representative Director and Executive Vice President. In the FY ended December 2021, before he took office, consolidated revenue was ¥447.1 billion, operating income ¥114.5 billion and net income ¥69.6 billion. He took office in his 15th year since joining Hulic in October 2007.

After he took office, consolidated results grew from revenue of ¥523.4 billion, operating income of ¥126.1 billion and net income of ¥79.2 billion in the FY ended December 2022 to revenue of ¥727.4 billion, operating income of ¥186.8 billion and net income of ¥114.3 billion in the FY ended December 2025. In the FY ended December 2023 revenue fell to ¥446.4 billion while operating income rose to ¥146.2 billion, an operating margin of 32.8%. Over his four years in office net income grew about 1.4-fold.
