Background
He joined Hazama in April 1988 and spent 32 years at the company before becoming an Executive Officer in April 2020. He became Managing Executive Officer in April 2022 and Director and Managing Executive Officer that June, and became President the following year. Ando Corporation and Hazama merged in April 2013 to form Hazama Ando, and he is a career employee from the former Hazama side. Only three years passed from Executive Officer to President, a short run-up as an officer.

In April 2023 he succeeded Masato Fukutomi as President, in the tenth year since the merger of Ando Corporation and Hazama. In FY ended March 2025 results recovered to net sales of ¥425.2 billion and operating profit of ¥35.2 billion, and in FY ended March 2026 net sales were ¥439.6 billion, operating profit ¥33.6 billion and net income ¥29.7 billion. Over three years in office, net sales grew from ¥372.1 billion to ¥439.6 billion and net income from ¥15.2 billion to ¥29.7 billion.
